| Comments: Decor was pleasant, tables and chairs and bench seats were comfortable. The variety of dishes on the menu is broad, with many Indian and Nepalese dishes and an entire page of Tibetan/Himalayan dishes. The yak stew was outstanding, and the yak is raised in Montrose, CO. The dumplings were firm and the sauce was tasty. Mo:Mo dumplings stuffed with chicken were served with a spicy, thick sauce on the side, an attractive dish. Chicken tikka masala was a creditable rendition, appropriately spiced. The Tibetan noodle soup with lamb and vegetables was filling but somewhat bland. However, any of the dishes can be served with any level of spiciness, according to the menu. Garlic naan was tasty, not overly garlicky. Cheese naan could have used more cheese. Service was prompt and friendly. We'd definitely will go back and try some more Indian dishes and some thai dishes. Note that there is no Chinese food on the menu; the word Chinese has been deleted from the sign outside, too. |
